Solution: Uninstall Microsoft Update KB961501. Uninstalling Microsoft Update KB961501 will resolve this issue until a permanent solution is found.
If your internal procedures prohibit you from uninstalling the Microsoft update, then you may follow these temporary workaround steps until a permanent solution is found. Open Text is actively working with Microsoft to find a permanent solution.
Before starting, ensure the RightFax Queue Handler service is running.
The HPFax queue will now resume operation.
Note: When the RightFax Queue Handler service starts it will undo the changes made by the temporary workaround. Therefore, the temporary workaround steps will need to be repeated if the Fax Server, RightFax Edition is rebooted or the services are restarted.
